Dans les vallées reculée de la frontière Pakistano-afghane, les trois mille derniers Kalash de l'Himalaya tentent de préserver leur culture et leurs traditions ancestrales, désormais menacées par l'islamisation de la société et le monde moderne. À l'approche du solstice d'hiver, les Kalash chantent et dansent pour la renaissance des saisons et la fertilité de leurs cultures. Ils prient les dieux et les esprits de la nature, dialoguent avec les fées et écoutent les instructions du chamane. C'est pour vivre de l’intérieur l’événement le plus sacré de la tradition que Jean-Yves Loude, Viviane Lièvre et Hervé Nègre ont intégré le quotidien de ce peuple, appris leur langue et adopté leurs rites. Un voyage captivant en terres chamanique au cœur du Pakistan, coédité par le Musée des confluences de Lyon.
