Alexander Crane is still reeling from his journey to the strange world of Abaddon, but the locals don't seem to be too sympathetic. Before long, he finds himself caught between a gang of Vampire bikers, a small blue fairy with ta real attitude problem, and a group of soldiers just like the ones who tracked him down on Earth. It doesn't take long for the local Dwarven Police Department to arrive and break up the squabble. Meanwhile, back on Earth, we learn more about the bizarre team of rag-tag magicians trying to stop Archean from capturing Alex. If they're going to do so, one of their most powerful allies will have to venture into Abaddon!
